◆国立国会図書館 平成26年度図書館情報学実習生募集のご案内

国立国会図書館では、図書館における実習に関する科目を履修する学生を対象
に、実習生を募集します。

応募資格：
・大学（短大・大学院を含む）に在籍する学生のうち、図書館における実習に関
する科目を履修する方。
・大学（短大・大学院を含む）の長から推薦を受けた方。
・実習日までに、実習期間中に発生した事故等に関する保険に加入できる方。

応募方法：
大学等の図書館情報学課程・司書課程等担当教員がとりまとめ、大学単位でお申
し込みください。
実習希望者本人からの申込みは受け付けておりません。

募集期間：2014年3月5日（水）〜4月22日（火）

実習期間：
・東京本館　9月1日（月）〜9月12日（金）の土曜日、日曜日を除く10日間
・関西館　9月4日（木）〜9月11日（木）の土曜日、日曜日を除く6日間
・国際子ども図書館　9月2日（火）〜9月11日（木）の日曜日、月曜日を除く8日間

費用：実習費は無料です。旅費・滞在費等は、実習参加者が負担してください。

Special Session on Library Science
in 5th International Conference on E-Service and Knowledge Management
(ESKM 2014)

You are invited to participate to the special session on "Library
Science" in ESKM 2014.

Special Session Scope:
With the dramatic developments in information and communication
technology, our society has gone through tremendous changes in terms of
how we store, manage and access information and knowledge. These
developments have brought substantive benefits for our society, but they
have also led to new challenges such as difficultly obtaining precise
information and the risk of information overload. In this special
session, we will focus on managing information and knowledge properly
and securing our access to information.

Sample topics include (but are not limited to):
Knowledge discovery
Knowledge services
Knowledge management
Text mining
Information access
Library services
E-learning
Information retrieval systems
User behavior modeling
Security, privacy and trust
Applications of social media
Scholarly communication
Digital preservation
Archives
Data curation

Submission:
All submitted papers will be reviewed at least two session committee
members. We encourage submission in CPS style
format.(http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formatting)

Each paper in this special session must be 4-6 pages length and include
the author's name(s), affiliation, complete mailing address, phone
number, fax number and email address. All papers must be submitted in
PDF format.

Publication:
Accepted papers are published in proceedings by Conference Publishing
Services. Conference Proceedings would be submitted to be indexed by EI,
Inspec, DBLP, and Thomson ISI. One selected paper will be included in
the post conference journal/or issue.

Acceptance Notification: May 8, 2014
Camera ready: May 28, 2014
